Interim is a beloved Parker School tradition which takes us out of the classroom for inspiring, experiential, learning-centered opportunities which seek to:

  • Enhance our sense of Kuleana through meaningful connection to the ʻāina, people, and communities of Hawaiʻi.
  • Broaden our understanding of Hawaiʻi by investigating itʻs history, culture, language, opportunities, inequality, economy, sustainability, art, science, etc.
  • Inspire possibilities for future study, work, or volunteering.
  • Nurture curiosity by going beyond “what” to investigate “why” and “how”.
  • Provide opportunity for self-reflection and personal growth.
