2025-2026 Interim Activities

Filter by:

Interim is a beloved Parker School tradition for upper and middle school students that is held over two days each Spring which takes us out of the classroom for inspiring, experiential, learning-centered opportunities which seek to:

  • Enhance our sense of Kuleana through meaningful connection to the ʻāina, people, and communities of Hawaiʻi.
  • Broaden our understanding of Hawaiʻi by investigating itʻs history, culture, language, opportunities, inequality, economy, sustainability, art, science, etc.
  • Inspire possibilities for future study, work, or volunteering.
  • Nurture curiosity by going beyond “what” to investigate “why” and “how”.
  • Provide opportunity for self-reflection and personal growth.

To get a taste of what Interim is all about, watch the 2025 and 2024 Interim videos created by professional filmmaker Adam Palya, and our student “Film Crew,” who filmed, photographed, and interviewed their peers.
