Financial Aid

Parker School’s financial aid philosophy is to make the cost of a Parker School education affordable for as many families as possible, within the limits of the financial aid funds available each year. Financial aid through the School is not available for Parker Preschool. Once financial aid is awarded for K–12 students, families must reapply annually; however, unless there are significant changes in a family’s financial circumstances, families may expect a consistent level of support from year to year.

Applying For Financial Aid

Parker School utilizes Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS) for administering financial aid for eligible families applying to grades K-12. TADS provides a framework through which household needs can be measured fairly and equitably. Recommendations from TADS are used by Parker School’s financial aid committee in accordance with its policies to determine the award amount. Final award notices are then provided to families by Parker School.

Completing the application online is easy, fast and secure.  Visit www.mytads.com to start the application and use the “click to log in” button on the “Financial Aid Assessment” line to log in or create a new account with TADS.

Processing Fee

A $60 processing fee will be collected by TADS at the end of the online application. Parker School has a limited number of fee waivers for those experiencing financial hardship. Supporting Documentation

Tax returns are required to support the financial aid application. Due to our application deadlines in February, the most recent tax return available (2022 or 2023) is due at the time of application.  You may mail, fax or upload your documentation to TADS. More information will be given at the end of the application.

Financial Support for Preschool

While Parker School does not offer financial aid for Parker Preschool, families may be eligible for external financial support programs that help offset the cost of early childhood education. These opportunities include the State of Hawaiʻi Child Care Subsidy Program and Preschool Open Doors, each of which provides assistance based on eligibility criteria set by the program. We encourage families to explore these resources early as part of their preschool planning process.

Quick Financial Aid Assessment FAQ

What documentation will I need to complete the application?

The required supporting documentation will be outlined at the beginning and end of the online application and is tailored specifically to what is entered on your application. Typically, TADS requires your most recently filed 1040 tax form (or verification of non-filing status from the IRS), your most recent W-2 statements, your most recent pay stubs as well as documentation of the stated debt on your application. Other documentation may be required.

How can I send in the supporting documentation?

You may mail, fax or upload your documentation to TADS. We will give you document submission information at the end of the application.

What if I want to leave my online application and come back to it later?

You may log back in to the TADS system and complete the application at any time.

How do I know if you have received my fax, mail or upload?

TADS will send you an email within 48 business hours of receiving your fax, mailed document or upload.

If my circumstances change, can I change my application?

Please call the TADS helpline if you need to adjust your application, a TADS representative will ask for documentation of these changes to be submitted by mail, fax or upload.
