We are Parker School

In the rolling hills of Waimea, there is a place where the courage of the paniolo runs deep, where students feel safe to explore the unknown frontier, and where curiosity and passion spark learning—and joy.

Parker School is that place and something new is on the horizon,
The SMART Center, which will be home to the next generation of doers and dreamers, thinkers and tinkers, creators and innovators.

Why The SMART Center

Founded in 1976 and nurtured by a tenacious spirit, Parker School has grown and established its place in Waimea as "an academic powerhouse deep in paniolo country" (Honolulu Magazine). As we grew, our students and facilities have been stretched to their limit.

The SMART Center will provide a much needed place for students to experience the thrill of a home game victory, hold PE classes inside, out of Waimea's Kīpu'upu'u rain, and finally gather our entire school 'ohana under one roof.

Under The Roof

The SMART Center's 21,000 square feet of indoor space will provide a dedicated place for students to write code in a computer lab, tinker in a maker space, create art in a design lab, perform in a dance studio, compete on the volleyball court, and hold all-school pep rallies.

Every day I am inspired by our students. This is our chance to demonstrate our Parker pride and provide the facilities that our students need to continue to grow and thrive.

Please join us and be a part of this historic endeavor. Every gift will move us forward and YOU can make a difference!
