Mrs. Reyad joined the Parker School ‘ohana in 2021 with nearly ten years of experience teaching at independent schools including at Weil Tennis Academy & College Preparatory School in Ojai, CA and Catholic High School of Pointe Coupee in New Roads, LA. She holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, a master of science degree in mechanical engineering from Louisiana Tech University, and is a certified International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) educator. Originally from Cairo, Egypt, Mrs. Reyad has lived in California, Washington State, Wisconsin, and Louisiana. She is married with two children, one of whom attends Parker School. In her spare time, Mrs. Reyad enjoys walking, playing sudoku, reading, trying different cuisines, taking scenic drives, and spending time with her family. She believes, “It is important to encourage and foster truly learning a subject, rather than concentrating on the grade. Truly learning anything is not easy or instantaneous, so perseverance and motivation are essential.”
