Experience & Translate: Punaluʻu

EXPERIENCE the mana of Punalu’u Black sand beach for 3 days and TWO NIGHTS while staying at the only house on the beach. Explore the surrounding historical, mythological and archeological sites and trails. Punalu’u is an incredibly rich historical and archeological site. Our interim will examine PANA “place” and the concept of past meeting present and everything in between. TRANSLATE your experience and learning into any medium (writing, photography, debate, scientific inquiry, choreography, painting, drawing, music, film, etc). Essentially your prompt will be to translate your learning and experience in your own voice, in any medium that is authentic and meaningful to you
