Gina De Domenico Flanagan ‘82 spoke to middle and upper school students in November as part of Parker’s ongoing Speaker Series. Gina is a successful costume illustrator in Hollywood and shared her personal story along with advice for students to work hard and achieving their goals. She is also the daughter of one of Parker School’s founders Paul and Anita De Domenico.
Harmony Ring ‘16 and Skye Waipa ‘16
Harmony Ring ‘16 (left) is finishing up undergrad at Wheaton College. She plans to work as a medical scribe for a few months before applying for the Director of Nursing Practice program at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. Harmony’s favorite memory is hot tang and Campouts. Skye Waipa ‘16 (right) is finishing up undergrad at the University of Rochester. Junior year Campout is her favorite Parker memory.
Hunter Mugford '05 passed away on April 17 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA.
Hunter Mugford '05 passed away on April 17 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. Hunter attended The Art Institute of New England for graphic design and worked in the gaming industry in Seattle. Hunter enjoyed cooking, movies, barbecue cookouts, and spending time with his family. Our sincerest condolences to Hunter's family, friends, and classmates.

Leina Sato '03 spoke with middle and upper school students in February as part of Parker School's ongoing Speaker Series. In 2016 Leina, an avid diver and ocean lover, was expecting her first child and became the subject of a documentary titled "The Journey". The film and Leina's talk with students related the story of an inter-species adventure and communication, mindfulness and the importance of presence, as well as the universal question about the power of creating life. Leina currently lives in Kailua Kona and gave birth to her second child, a boy, in February.

Mario Brown ‘97 (left) and Nikos Brown ‘01-04 (right) visited Parker School in January. Mario is a sixth-grade teacher on the East Coast and his favorite Parker memory is “Campout, basketball, and all of it!” Nikos is a special education teacher in grades Kindergarten through grade 6 at Wai’alae Public Charter School on O’ahu. His favorite high school memory is family meetings, art in the warehouse, climbing Buster Brown hill, and Headmaster Piper Toyama.

Dr. Sandy Cameli ‘81 was interviewed for a podcast by What School Be In Hawaii. She was also included in a recent PBS taping for an upcoming promo where she read an excerpt from her book “A Happy a Day Keeps the Grouches Away”.
