Christopher Wong P ’34, ’37

Student Services and Events Coordinator

Mr. Wong joined Parker School in 2025 with a wealth of experience in operations, event coordination, and community engagement. Known as Uncle Wong by students, he most recently served as co-owner and operations director of Naupaka Events & Weddings. He has spent more than five years planning and executing events across Hawaiʻi Island. In addition to his event work, Uncle Wong has held roles in construction inspection, heavy equipment operation, ranch and facilities management, hospitality, and sales. His diverse background reflects a strong work ethic and a deep connection to the local community. Uncle Wong currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Waimea Community Association and holds a bachelor of arts in Communications from the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo. Chris shares Confusious’ famous quote to explain his philosophy of education, “I hear, and I forget. I see, and I remember. I do, and I understand.” He adds, “I strive to be a positive role model for all kids that I interact with.” Uncle Wong enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife and three boys, and enjoys shoreline fishing, Paniolo things, and jiujitsu.
