Mr. Palya, a.k.a. “Mr. P”, joined Parker School in 2024 and brings with him more than 15 years of filmmaking experience. Mr. P has a bachelor’s of communications media degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has held numerous positions in television production including production assistant, writers assistant, segment producer, associate producer, shooter and editor. His experience also includes 12 years in television production in Los Angeles on multi camera sitcoms, digital media, feature films and artists management. Additionally, he has worked with a range of networks including Disney, Disney +, Youtube, TBS, Netflix, ABC and more. Mr. P is currently a video producer at Kahilu.TV and owner of Lucky Tree Productions as well as creator, editor, producer, and director of Haole Do It, a hit show that dives into the Hawaiian culture and explores what it means to be Haole (foreigner) in Hawai’i. Originally from Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Mr. Penjoys surfing, playing music, brainstorming next creative endeavor, and spending time with his family and friends (his mother-in-law is Joanie Brotman, retired Parker School College Counselor). Mr. P shares, “Creating video content is my passion and I’m excited to share my love for this multi-media artform with Parker students in the hopes that they will become as inspired by the storytelling and creative process as I am.”
