Parker Enrichment Program Offerings
The Parker Enrichment Program’s vision is to provide all members of our community with the opportunity to extend academic learning, to improve educational and employment skills and to enjoy enriching lifelong learning experiences.
Summer 2018, we are offering:
Performing Arts Summer Program
Come Join Us for this three-week camp as we experience the world of the Lion King in this 30-minute adaptation of the popular Broadway show. Campers will engage in all aspects of play production throughout the camp, including acting, music, choreography, set design, and costume design.
WHO: Ages 10-15
WHEN: July 2-20 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
WHERE: Parker School Theater
COST: $150.00 per week; $400 for all 3 weeks
REQUIREMENTS: Students must bring a sack lunch, water bottle and a snack (if needed).

s.a.t. Prep Course
WHO: Students will prepare and practice for the S.A.T. test.
WHEN: July 28-August 25.
WHERE: Parker School
COST: $425 for Parker students and $475 for non-Parker students.

Design Thinking Summer Course
Students will learn and apply the empathy-driven design thinking process to solve many of the engineering challenges we currently face in the world. Through the exploration of the design process, students will develop the confidence to take creative risks and learn the value of failing early and often in order to produce the best possible solution. Students will be exposed to a number of different engineering disciplines and possible career fields through participating in various hands-on projects and activities.
WHO: Students in grades 6-8 (there might be an opportunity for some High School students to participate in a mentorship role, please contact Ms. Corrigan for more information)
WHEN: June 4-22; 8:00 a.m.-Noon; Monday-Friday
WHERE: Parker School’s FHB Media Center
REQUIREMENTS: Students must bring lunch, water bottle and a snack (if needed).
